Canon RF 50mm 1.2L USM Review
Digital Camera World released their review of the Canon 50mm 1.2L USM. It's a rather short and sweet review, delving into the lens performance at the center and edges.
The Canon RF 50mm 1.2L at a glance;
- RF-Mount Lens/Full-Frame Format
- Aperture Range: f/1.2 to f/16
- One UD Element, One Aspherical Element
- Ring-Type Ultrasonic Motor AF System
- Customizable Control Ring
- Rounded 10-Blade Diaphragm
Their verdict;
This lens was designed as a system showcase, doing justice to its L series billing as well as the EOS R system. It’s not cheap, costing as much as the camera itself, and given the EOS R's lack of IBIS it would certainly have been nice to have lens-IS. In terms of the results, however, it’s everything you could ask of a fast Canon prime.
