Canon Patent Application: More diffractive optics super telephotos

Canon it seems is not quite done with researching diffractive optic patents, even though the 600/4 DO that we saw on prototype is starting to seem like a unicorn.

This is a new patent application with the entire range of super telephotos from 400, 600 and 800mm listed as embodiments.
