Canon Japan releases a backordered lens list

With the ongoing supply chain issues that have persisted for over a year now, Canon is suffering and not able to meet demand for it's newest RF lenses.

Canon Japan released a list of lenses that they currently can't meet the demand for.  It's unknown at this time if it's a domestic supply problem or a global supply. It's better to be safe and assume this is the same everywhere.

With all of the lenses that have not been released yet if you are in serious need of one of them I strongly suggest that you preorder it.

For the Canon RF 100-500mm, if you really need it you need to snap it up immediately if stock appears.  Another option would be to order from B&H Photovideo who will only charge you when they can fulfill the order.

You can cancel the preorder or pending order if you find the lens somewhere else.
