Canon applies for a couple of 1" sensor lens patents
Canon over several patent applications has applied for a lot of lenses for the 1" sensor. These could be for surveillance or other purposes or some future powershot designs.
Canon Patent Application 2020-030252
This patent application discusses a 9-85mm F2.8-5.6 lens (equivalent focal of 24-233mm) with a 15mm (40mm) Macro function. The 9-85mm optical design is shown above.

It has another embodiment that is even more impressive as it's a 9-120mm or equivalent focal of 24-330mm) with again, a 40mm macro function.

Canon Patent Application 2020-030250
This next patent application appears to identify a much simpler lens design. Most likely it allows it to be far more compact in nature.
The lens described in the patent application is a 9-42mm F2.8-F7.0 lens, which is 24mm-115mm equivalent focal length
An example embodiment is shown below;
focal length 9.06 18.00 42.65
F-number 2.84 3.85 7.06
Angle of view 35.66 23.67 10.48
Image height 6.50 7.89 7.89
Total lens length 77.00 66.08 79.54
