The grey market sellers are starting to sell the EOS R now.
Deals-all-year which has a 99.7% positive feedback rating as the EOS R at limited quantities for $1939. Of course, these are grey market, so Canon's own warranty will not apply, you'll have to deal with deals-all-year for warranty repair if there is problems.
