Canon camera shows up at certification authority
A new camera has shown up at a certification authority, and it's most likely the EOS R5. I think the big clue is the new LP-E6 type battery which even fits in with the rumor which stated it's a new battery that looks like the LP-E6. This new battery is called the LP-E6NH.
H for high capacity perhaps? It seems likely as Nokishita mentions the battery is 7.2V and 2130mAh - or 15.336Watt hours. The existing LP-E6N is 7.2V and 1865 mAh or 13.428 watt hours. The new battery has 14% more capacity than the older battery.
Also, Nokishita pointed out that Canon states it is compatible with the RS-60E3 which probably tells us that the front port on the bottom right hand side is most definitely the remote port. Curiously they also mention that it's compatible with the 600EX-RT speedlight. Why would that be mentioned? Possible that the EOS-R5 has built in radio trigger? Now that would be a game changer for some. So this is a curious mention by Canon in the certification.
