Canon Patent Application: F1.8 series of primes

In this patent application, Canon describes some medium telephoto primes.

It would be no surprise to me if Canon does at least one of the lenses mentioned in this patent because small, cheap, and optically good primes are necessary in any ecosystem.  I suspect that 100mm F1.8, since the 100mm F2.0 has been a great bang for the buck for decades on the EF mount.
