Laowa announces the Argus 30mm F.95 for Canon RF APS-C
Laowa has announced the Argus 33mm F.95 APS-C and curiously, it's available for the Canon RF mount, but not the EOS-M mount. They have this labeled as an APO lens, so we'd expect no chromatic aberration with this lens. With a super-fast .95 aperture, that's quite an achievement. According to Laowa the lens incorporates one Extra-low Dispersion Glass, one Aspherical Lens and three Ultra High Refraction Glass to minimize the chromatic aberration.
The Canon RF mount is expected to be available around mid-May and the price is $499. You can purchase directly from Laowa here.
This is a manual focus and manual aperture (stepless) lens there is no electronic communication with the Canon RF mount.
