CanonNews / Thursday, June 11, 2020 / Categories: Rumors, Canon Mirrorless, Canon Lenses New Rumor: More consumer lenses in 2021 for Canon RF A new rumor from CanonRumors has three new consumer lenses being released in 2021. Canon RF 18-45mm IS STM While this could be an APS-C lens, it's most likely the RF full frame functional equivalent of the 10-18mm, an ultra cheap ultra wide angle for the masses. The 10-18 was a huge success for Canon, frequently on the top 10 selling lens lists. I can't see this not being the same for the RF mount. This would be a perfect UWA companion to the Canon EOS RP. Canon RF 24mm Macro IS Canon is shoving macro on everything these days, so this will be most likely another .5x macro design. Since it does have close focus of "Macro" magnifications, it most likely isn't a pancake lens - which would have been welcomed. Canon RF 100-400 IS USM This is supposedly a consumer 100-400mm lens. No other details at this time, however, I'm sure we'll hear more over the coming months.
