CanonNews / Monday, July 1, 2019 / Categories: Rumors, Canon Powershot G5X Mark II Images and Specifications leaked We suggested when the G7X Mark III specifications were leaked that Canon could have been using the Sony stacked sensor to achieve 30 fps RAW, and in this leak today of the G5X Mark II specifications, we see that the leak indicates it is using the 1" stacked sensor (most likely from Sony). This explains how Canon was able to achieve 30 fps. Nokishita has released the leaked specifications and images of the G5X Mark II and it's similar to the G7X Mark III as one would expect, with the addition of a new popup EVF. Why the difference for the G7X and the G5X now? Well, as before, a slightly heavier camera, and more expensive because it will have an EVF as well. Also with the G5X II you have a wider focal range of 24-120mm. DIGIC 8 5x optical zoom (converted 24-120 mm f / 1.8-2.8) 30 frames per second RAW continuous shooting mode 4K video Full HD 120 fps movie Self-portable tilt liquid crystal Pop-up EVF 3.5 mm microphone input terminal Equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Size: 110.9 x 60.9 x 46 mm Weight: 340g As with the G7X Mark III, we expect the G5X Mark II to be announced very shortly.
