CanonNews / Thursday, December 12, 2019 / Categories: Canon Patents Canon RF Full frame kit zooms Canon continues to research the low end of the Canon RF lens lineup, especially kit zooms. In this patent, is some actually, pretty good full frame kit zooms, with the intriguing aspect that they would also be good if you used them on a APS-C camera. However, please note, these certainly are full frame lenses. Essentially these embodiments are for 17-70 or 18-65mm full frame lenses. This would be right in my wheelhouse for wants, it would certainly be a shut up and take my money event happening, at least for me. Of course the only downside to these lenses is that they are variable apeture from 3.5-5.6, making them smaller, cheaper, but certainly not as good as Canon's legendary fixed apeture zooms.
