The RF 24-105mm offers a very versatile focal range whilst being tack-sharp from 24mm to 85mm, both in the centre and at the edges of the frame. Sharpness at the far end of the telephoto range isn't quite as good when shooting wide-open at f/4, but you only have to stop down to f/5.6 to get more than acceptable results. Overall the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM delivers excellent sharpness across the frame at most apertures. Vignetting at wide-open apertures and some barrel distortion at 24mm are the only other real optical issues of note. Read the full comprehensive review here Want the RF 24-105L now?
