Canon Patent Application: Canon EF-M kit lenses

This patent application is for a Canon EF-M 16-45 (IS STM most likely) with a variable aperture of 3.5-5.6, as well as a few other embodiments.  Canon needs to continue to work on lenses for the EF-M, including a better kit lens with less copy variation.  This patent application hopes to bring good optical performance with less vignetting in the periphery regions.
