Canon Japan says preorders have exceeded expectations

I am not shocked to hear this. I've heard that people were getting on "pre" pre-order lists. In other words, they were phoning up their favorite retailer in February and saying, put me on the list when it comes out.

Alot is made over the video and overheating - but this is in all facets a 5D replacement for the RF mount. It is supposed to be a capable still and video system, and not just as some want to think about it - a Video Camera.
