Richard / Wednesday, November 7, 2018 / Categories: Reviews, Third Party Reviews Canon EOS R vs Nikon Z7 - Misadventures in Usability Michael the Maven produced a video describing what he feels are problems with the EOS R far as usability and what Canon could do to improve the camera. I think he raises some interesting points, but this is like the EOS M, you either "get" the ergonomics or you won't. Canon's ergonomics on mirrorless is more centric to their exceptional UI and touchscreen interface that has been honed over the past 4 years. You have to think outside the box to get the most from an EOS R, as Canon has done some radical changes to their core ergonomics.
