Shocked? Indeed. Dpreview gave it an 85% rating and a gold award, stating it's their favorite Canon mirrorless camera yet. Key features of the Canon M6 Mark II; 32.5MP Dual Pixel AF CMOS sensor 14 fps continuous shooting 30 fps Raw Burst mode (with AF Tracking and pre-shot buffering) UHD 4K video at 30p and 25p with no crop / full width 3.0" rear touchscreen flips up by 180° or down by 45° Optional electronic viewfinder USB 2.0 port with Type-C connector Pros; Excellent image quality in Raw and JPEG Good level of direct control Compact but still feels good in the hand Responsive, simple user interface Effective AF system that requires minimal user-intervention 4K Video with effective digital stabilization options (though at significant cost to quality) USB charging is convenient Good burst speed (up to 14 fps, or 7 with live view) Well-controlled rolling shutter Cons; 4K video much less detailed than rivals AF Tracking point will occasionally wander off your chosen subject Eye detection only works at fairly close range and can tend to fractionally front-focus (on eyelashes) Relatively limited system unless you mount large, adapted lenses Requires high-power (probably PD-compliant) charger for USB charging No headphone socket Auto ISO threshold only accessible via main menu No flat or Log profile to exploit 10-bit video potential Conclusions; The Canon EOS M6 Mark II is a very capable camera that's now supported by a reasonable range of EF-M lenses. Improved autofocus and refined ergonomics make it a likeable and engaging camera to shoot with. Read the full review here Tamron SP 35mm F1.4 Di USD Review Will the 1DX Mark III have IBIS?
