CanonNews / Sunday, September 20, 2020 / Categories: Rumors, Canon CINI Products Canon C70 to be announced this week Canon's continuing march to the RF mount takes another milestone this week as the first RF mount cinema camera gets announced, according to CanonRumors. This new cinema camera is the C70. More of a midrange cinema camera, it is pretty small and compact going by the relative size of the RF mount showing on the picture. It should fit in many different use cases. Of course, some will claim that the R5 is crippled because of this video camera. Please don't listen to that nonsense. You can see on this one single image the reason why the this camera and the R5 are different. A fan exhaust port. The core specifications according to CanonRumors are expected to be; Super 35mm 4K DGO sensor (same as the Cinema EOS C300 Mark III) No IBIS RF Mount Internal ND (10 Stops) CLog 2 & CLog 3 4:2:2 10bit onto SD cards up to 4K120 and 2K180 No RAW capability internally at launch BP-A batteries Canon announces new IVY CLIQ cameras Canon EOS R5 Comprehensive Review by Christopher Frost Print 4007 Tags: Cini RF C70 More links CanonRumors Related articles Canon releases 1.0.3 for the C70 Canon Patent Application: Underwater RF Super-35 CINI Lenses New Canon EOS C70 Firmware Update Answers The Top Demands of Professional End-Users New firmware announced for Cinema EOS and EOS R5 Gerald Undone: Canon C70 Review Please enable JavaScript to view the comments powered by Disqus.blog comments powered by Disqus
